Rules & terms

Short version: pitch something real, keep it clean, don't scam anyone.

What's not allowed

How review works

Every pitch is checked automatically before you pay: frames from the video, a transcript of the audio, the title and the link. After it's live, anyone can report it. Reported pitches are reviewed by a human.

If a live pitch is removed for breaking these rules, the next pitch in line takes over, or if nobody is waiting, the previous pitch goes back on stage. There is no refund when a pitch is removed for breaking the rules.

How the price works

What you get

Your pitch is shown on the front page for at least 15 minutes, and after that until someone else pays to take the stage. Afterwards it stays in the Hall of Fame with its own page.

FAQ

What is 30pitch?

30pitch is one stage that shows one 30-second video pitch at a time. Founders and indie hackers pay to put their product on it, and the next person to pay takes it over. It's the opposite of spam: your product is pitched to people who came to watch pitches.

How much does it cost to pitch on 30pitch?

The price never goes below $5. After each purchase the next price starts 25% above what was last paid, and the part above $5 halves every 12 hours, so the stage gets cheaper the longer nobody buys. The current price is always shown on the front page.

How long will my pitch be on stage?

At least 15 minutes, guaranteed. After that it stays on until someone else buys the stage, which can be minutes or days. Then it moves to the Hall of Fame, where it keeps its own page.

What happens if someone buys while I'm on stage?

If it's during your first 15 minutes, they join the line and take over automatically when your time is up. After your 15 minutes, a new purchase takes over right away.

Am I charged if someone else takes the stage while I'm paying?

No. Your price is locked while you check out, and your card is only charged if your purchase actually gets the spot.

What kind of video can I post?

Up to 30 seconds, with sound, recorded right here in your browser: talk to the camera, or share your screen to demo the product with your face in a small circle. Every pitch is reviewed before you pay, and scams, explicit content and other harmful material aren't allowed.

How is this different from posting on social media?

Nobody on 30pitch is interrupted by an ad they didn't ask for. Viewers come to watch pitches, there's only one at a time, and every pitch gets its own permanent page with a transcript that search engines and AI assistants can read.
