Privacy
Short version: we collect as little as we can, we don't sell anything, we don't run ads, analytics only runs if you say yes, and you can ask us to delete your data at any time.

Who we are
30pitch (30pitch.com) is run by OFPINE AB, Sweden (VAT no. SE59449052501). We are the data controller for the personal data described here. Questions or requests: simon@ofpine.com.
What we collect, and why
If you watch
- Your IP address and browser details reach our hosting provider when you load a page, as with any website. We use a salted, one-way hash of your IP address to stop abuse (rate limits) and, if you haven't accepted the visitor ID below, to count each view and link click once. The hash can't be turned back into your IP address. Legal basis: legitimate interest (security and accurate numbers).
- A random visitor ID in your browser's local storage, only if you accept in the banner. It lets us count each view and link click once per browser. It's never shared, and you can withdraw consent at any time under "Cookie settings". Legal basis: consent.
- Website analytics (DataFast), only if you accept in the banner. DataFast sets cookies to recognise your browser across visits and records which pages you view, where you came from (referrer), your browser and device type, and your approximate location derived from your IP address. If you then buy a spot, the analytics IDs are attached to the payment so we can see which channels lead to purchases. We use it to understand how the site is used. Withdrawing consent stops the analytics and removes its cookies. Legal basis: consent.
- Reports you file on a pitch: your reason text and a hashed identifier so one person can't report the same pitch twice. Legal basis: legitimate interest (moderation).
If you pitch
- Your video, which includes your face and voice if you appear in it, plus an automatic transcript of the audio, and the title, link and name/handle you enter. These are published on the stage and in the Hall of Fame. Legal basis: contract (publishing your pitch).
- Your email address and payment details. Payments are handled by Stripe. We receive your email address, the amount and the payment status. We never see or store your card number. We use your email address for receipts and for the emails about your pitch ("you're in line", "you're on stage", "you've been dethroned"). Legal basis: contract; bookkeeping law for payment records.
If you set a price alert
- Your email address and the price you chose. We only email you after you confirm, and every alert email has a one-click unsubscribe link. Legal basis: consent.
Automated review of pitches
Before a pitch can be paid for, it's checked automatically: still frames from the video, the transcript, the title and the link are analysed by an AI model (Claude, by Anthropic) for content that breaks our rules. The result decides whether your pitch can go on stage. If you think a decision was wrong, contact us and a human will review it.
Who processes data for us
We use these providers to run 30pitch. Each processes data only on our instructions, under a data processing agreement.

Where data leaves the EU/EEA, it's protected by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
We don't sell personal data, and we don't use advertising trackers. Analytics only runs if you accept it.
How long we keep it
- Pitches that never go on stage: media is deleted automatically, within 2 hours for unfinished uploads, 1 hour for rejected pitches and 7 days for approved pitches that are never paid for.
- Pitches that were on stage stay in the Hall of Fame until you ask us to remove them.
- Payment records are kept for 7 years, as Swedish bookkeeping law requires.
- Price alerts: until you unsubscribe. Unconfirmed sign-ups are deleted after 7 days and unsubscribed alerts after 30 days.
- Rate-limit records (hashed IPs) are deleted after 2 days.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, or ask us to correct, delete, restrict or move it, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Email simon@ofpine.com. We'll answer within a month.
If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY) or the data protection authority where you live.
Storage on your device
We don't use cookies for advertising. In your browser we keep:
- Your privacy choice, so we don't ask again. This is strictly necessary.
- A draft token while you record and pay for a pitch, removed when you close the tab. This is strictly necessary.
- Your teleprompter script and settings, if you use the teleprompter, removed when you close the tab. It never leaves your browser.
- The random visitor ID, only if you accept.
- DataFast analytics cookies, only if you accept.
Age
30pitch is for people aged 18 or over. Paying for a pitch requires being an adult.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. Significant changes will be announced on the site.
